FL is in town and I don’t have time to think about it. You all realize this means that I probably will forget about it by the time he leaves, right? So it’s on you all to take the ball and run with it. Or not. (This is why I will never actually take over the world – I get bored with it or distracted by something else.) But anyway, time for me to drink some coffee on my fantabulous new porch furniture, which went together quite easily once I told FL how to do it. (He’d been trying to follow the insane directions, which made absolutely no sense. I had more daring, and ultimately, my directions worked totally easily.)
Oh, and thanks for the happy birthday wishes, everybody! I know, I’m an ungrateful, ungrateful person for not having said so before. And now I’m on the porch with laptop and am watching an awesome game of tag or something between two squirrels. (The scene: the trunk of my tree in my front yard. Squirrel #1 has a big nut of some kind in his mouth. Periodically, he tries to eat it (sometimes upside down). Squirrel # 2 keeps chasing him around the tree. They never go up to the branches, and are not fighting, so I can only imagine this is what squirrels do for fun?) Can I just say to you all again, I so love my house. It is adorable and perfect and I love it. Every single day I think about how wonderful my little house is.
For what it’s worth, everybody else loves my house, too. And they’re jealous.

I have an awesome house, and I’m jealous of yours. Especially that porch. Glad you’re appreciating it…
Well of course we’re all jealous! The new has faded from my love for my house, but I’m still amazed that it’s mine. And yes, jealous of you with yours!
What gorgeous porch furniture–and someone to help assemble it (that’s priceless!) I’m in love with my house, too. So I can’t say that I’m jealous exactly, but I know where you’re coming from. Enjoy! It looks like a great house with lots of charm.
Looks like a comfy place to sit and read! I hope you get a spend time at home enjoying it.
